Main feature of Foam Concrete (Lightweight Concrete)
Foam concrete is created by uniform distribution of air bubbles throughout the mass of concrete. Foam concrete is produced by mechanical mixing of foam prepared in advance with concrete mixture, and not with the help of chemical reactions.

Lao Cai copper refining plant discharges hazardous waste
HA NOI — Hundreds of tonnes of untreated industrial waste were discharged from the Lao Cai Copper Refining Plant (LCRP) at the Tang Loong Industrial Zone in Lao Cai Province.
The plant is able to produce 10,000 tonnes of copper a year, which fulfils one third of the country's demand for copper. The plant discharges about 16.5 tonnes of slag each month. Hundreds of tonnes of industrial waste stored inside the plant began to seep into the environment after heavy rains flooded the factory.
Universal environment fees payable from 2011
HA NOI — Enterprises that exploit forests and their benefits for their businesses will have to pay environmental fees from January 1 next year.
Decree 99/2010/ND-CP, which sets the payments, was issued after successful trials in Central Highland Lam Dong Province and northern Son La Province that began in 2009.
